Chatton Park Hill Trig Point
Trig Point In Chillingham, Northumberland
This is the trig point for Chatton Park Hill (184m) near Wooler.
Height - 184m // Bracket - S3575 // Postcode - NULL
This is the Chatton Park Hill trig point (184m) in between Wooler and Chillingham.
It's a relatively straightforward trig bagging, although the last part is not on open acces land, so please ask permission from the local farmer before venturing up. From the layby head back west along the road looking for a finger post then head back east on the track, skirking the trees and then up Chatton Park Hill to the trig point.
The field can also contain cattle and sheep so it may be better to duck into the forest on the fire track.
Just follow this map, or find it on OS Maps.

Thanks for checking out this place on the Fabulous North! I do enjoy a wander out in to the countryside trying to find hidden gems that not many people know about. You can't beat a rogue Pele tower up a remote hill or a mysterious stone circle or a stunning waterfall secluded in a forest.
