The Tuthill Quarry trig point is sitting on top of a quarry (164m) near Seaham.
From the car, head S on the cycle path. When you reach the Pesspool Hall Farm Cottage, turn left heading E. After climbing a stile, turn right. When you reach the woodland go straight through until you reach a track.
Turn right on this track. Follow the track for a short distance before turning left to head for the quarry. To reach to trig point you need to climb the steep slopes. This can be tricky in wet or frosty weather, so be careful.
This route is just over 1km from the car with 40m of ascent.
