Barley Hill Trig Point

Trig Point In Blanchland, Northumberland

This is the trig point for Barley Hill (305m) near Blanchland.

Height - 305m // Bracket - S4108 // Postcode - DH8 9RY

This is the Barley Hill trig point (305m) in Blanchland and near Derwent Reservoir.

This one is a quick and easy bag as you see it just over the wall in a field (probably of barley!). You can park at the gate if you are having a quick flying visit and then either peep over the wall or venture into the field. We're not sure if this is private or not, so enter at your own peril.

Thanks to Michelle Batchelor-Bowman for the photos and information.

Thanks for checking out this place on the Fabulous North! I do enjoy a wander out in to the countryside trying to find hidden gems that not many people know about. You can't beat a rogue Pele tower up a remote hill or a mysterious stone circle or a stunning waterfall secluded in a forest.
