This is the Bolts Law Smalesmouth trig point (395m) sitting on top of Bolts Law just south of Kielder Water.

To get here park at Elf Kirk which is a coin pay and display or can be pre booked online. Then follow the forest track up to the trig point. The area right next to the trig is not accessible, however you may be able to get permission from RAF Spadeadam when they are servicing the site. The site is monitored by 24hr CCTV.
Just follow this map, or find it on OS Maps. It's 9km to get there with 239m of ascent.
