The Cnoc Ceislein trig point sits on a hill to the north west of the Fyrish Monument (523m) near Dingwall.

This is the Cnoc Ceislein trig point (523m) sitting on a hill to the north west of the Fyrish Monument near Dingwall.
From Novar Estate car park follow the Jubilee Path sign into the woods. Follow the path through the woods as you make your way to the Fyrish Monument.
Take the path past the monument and down the other side of Fyrish Hill (Cnoc Fyrish).
The path drops into woodland, turn left into the woods. Be careful, you may need to dodge some fallen trees.
When the track emerges from the woodland, turn right and follow the track north. You have views back to Fyrish Hill and the Fyrish Monument to the right.
Continue on the track for about 1km until you are east of the trig. There is a faint ATV track on the left that takes you up to the trig point. The ground can be boggy and tussocky on this section.
However, when you do make it to the trig point, the views are fantastic, especially if the weather decides to brighten up just at the right moment.
