This is the Byers Pike trig point (458m) sitting on Haltonlea Fell near Haltwhistle.

From the layby at Midgeholme head through the gate and follow the path next to the burn until you come to a small road. Follow this west to the farm buildings and then onto the moors.

Then look out for the grouse butts heading south which will lead you to the Byers Pike trig point.

Just follow this map, or find it on OS Maps. Under 3km, but a hefty 265m of climbing through deep tussoky grass and heather.
