A beautiful spot and my favourite waterfall in Northumberland. A tranquil and calm place.

Woodhorn Colliery and Museum hold a special place as all my family worked down that mine. Brilliant community spirit!

As lovers of graveyards, this one is up there with the best. It’s a real gem of a place with a lovely feel to it.

The Lighthouse reminds me of happy Sundays together, followed by ice cream at Seaton Delaval. Really miss those days.

Bamburgh is my favourite place and the home of my heroine Grace Darling. Have visited so many times and is my happy place.

One of the first places I visited after learning to drive, and where I joined Historic Scotland. Looks stunning too! :)

Kelso was my second home growing up. Spent every summer and numerous weekends exploring and making memories here.

This was a familiar view during family holidays in Alnmouth making memories.

I am fascinated by ancient stones and Duddo is one of the best stone circles in Northumberland.

Great food, drink, music and atmosphere. The ever changing art is the icing on the cake.

With a huge Greek temple, sea views, a trig point, a nearby café and a park opposite, what’s not to love about Penshaw.

This is the place I come for my head and heart to rise with the sun. Our kids call it The Cocoa Hills.

My absolute favourite place in the whole of the Cheviots and could do every walk here!
