King's Seat Trig Point

Trig Point In The Cheviots, Northumberland

The trig point sitting on King's Seat on the border ridge (531m).

Height - 532m // Bracket - S7997 // Postcode -

This is the trig point sitting on King's Seat (531m) on the border ridge between England and Scotland.

Best way to get to it would be to park at Wedder Leap car park and then just follow the permissive parth north, skirting Hazely Law and up to the border ridge. Then head further north until you get to the trig point.

It's an 8km walk there, but you can also head back down the ridge and bag Windy Gyle trig point at the same time.

Thanks for checking out this place on the Fabulous North! I do enjoy a wander out in to the countryside trying to find hidden gems that not many people know about. You can't beat a rogue Pele tower up a remote hill or a mysterious stone circle or a stunning waterfall secluded in a forest.
