This is the trig point sitting on top of Grey Nag (656m) near Alston Northumberland.
Park at Castle Nook café near Alston and then pick up the permissive path from the car park. There is a small track just off the path that leads to the open access land. From here pick your best route west to the trig point.
Just follow this route to the trig, or find it on OS Maps. Just under 4km and 369m ascent.
