From the parking area, cross the road and head south east up the PROW.
The path comes to a track, turn left.
The track continues to head north east, passing shooting cabins and grouse butts.
Approximately 1km after the shooting cabins, take the track to the left. The track will zig zag for 1.5km before you need to turn right leaving the track, heading over the heather to the trig point.
It is just over 6km to the trig with 190m of ascent.
