Moot Law Trig Point

Trig Point In Swinburne, Northumberland

This is the trig point for Moot Law (258m) near Swinburne.

Height - 258m // Bracket - S3995 // Postcode - NE20 0TB

This is the Moot Law trig point (258m) near Swinburne and Ryal.

There are a few places to park and walk including near the quarry, but maybe the most direct route is to park south east of Moot Law Farm and then walk up the last part of the track past the wonderfully named Cock Play!

This is all on a public bridleway apart from the last little climb to the trig point, so please ask permission from the farm before venturing onto their land.

Just follow this map, or find it on OS Maps. Just short of 1.5km and 58m ascent.

Thanks for checking out this place on the Fabulous North! I do enjoy a wander out in to the countryside trying to find hidden gems that not many people know about. You can't beat a rogue Pele tower up a remote hill or a mysterious stone circle or a stunning waterfall secluded in a forest.
