Magical Offering
Art In Amble, Northumberland
A little hidden den in the dunes near Amble made of driftwood and containing shells and fun messages.
We love a hidden gem at the Fabulous North and this one is a belta. During our saunter to find the Amble Shipwrecks we saw a curious marker on the map somewhere up in the dunes called the Magical Offering.
Not sure what we would find, we headed up for an explore and we weren't disappointed. Nestled in the dunes, the Magical Offering is a little hidden den made from driftwood, pebbles, shells and lots of lovely messages.
We scoured the internet trying to find any information we could about it and left no pebble unturned. But unfortunately we couldn't find anything.
The Magical Offering looks like it has been built up over time with people leaving their own little beach paraphernalia as they visit. There are some lovely painted pebbles and shiney stones arranged around the driftwood.
If you do visit, why not find a smashing shell to take with you to add to the collection. As always please be respectful of this little hidden gem.
If you're looking for more artwork then head back into Amble for the Amble Art Trail Bord Waalk. A collection of bird themed sculptures dotted around the town centre.

Thanks for checking out this place on the Fabulous North! I do enjoy a wander out in to the countryside trying to find hidden gems that not many people know about. You can't beat a rogue pele tower up a remote hill, a mysterious stone circle or a stunning waterfall secluded in a forest.
