This is the Pontop Pike trig point (313m) near Consett.
From the car park, cross the road and head SE up Delight Bank. Follow this road turning right past Pontop Pike Farm. This track will take you straight to the trig point. This route avoids the steep muddy tracks through the woods. It is 1.5km from the car park.
