Beacon Hill Trig Point

Trig Point In Morpeth, Northumberland

This is the trig point for Beacon Hill (194m) near Morpeth.

Height - 194m // Bracket - S3694 // Postcode - NE65 8QW

This is the Beacon Hill trig point (194m) just north west of Morpeth.

The trig point is actually on the grounds of Beacon Hill Farm Holiday Cottages, however the owner, Alun Moore, welcomes visitors to the trig point.

Alun got in touch with us and said:

Trig baggers are very welcome to come here whenever they want. There is no need to ring. Just turn up, park in one of the car parks half way up the drive, then walk 100yards south to the Trig. The views to the south are gorgeous. Enjoy.

If you do bump into him, tell him that he is a legend and give him a crisp high-five!

The trig looks to have had a fresh lick of paint since this was photo was taken a few years back by Lorraine London.

Thanks for checking out this place on the Fabulous North! I do enjoy a wander out in to the countryside trying to find hidden gems that not many people know about. You can't beat a rogue Pele tower up a remote hill or a mysterious stone circle or a stunning waterfall secluded in a forest.
