Five Lane Ends Trig Point
Trig Point In Swinburne, Northumberland
This is the trig point for Five Lane Ends (161m) near Swinburne.
Height - 161m // Bracket - S6654 // Postcode - NULL

This is the Five Lane Ends trig point (161m) sitting on Todd Ridge near Great Swinburne.

If you look on OS Maps it says that the trig point is actually in the field to the west, but it must have been moved as it's now in a little copse at the edge of the field.
Permission is needed to visit this trig point, however Richard the landowner was very nice. Not only did he give permission to access the trig he also allowed us to park at the Well House caravan site just a short walk from the trig. So please give him a big thanks and a crisp high five.
Just follow this map, or find it on OS Maps. It's only 0.25km away with 0m of climbing.
Thanks to Sean Linley for all the photos and information for this one.

Thanks for checking out this place on the Fabulous North! I do enjoy a wander out in to the countryside trying to find hidden gems that not many people know about. You can't beat a rogue Pele tower up a remote hill or a mysterious stone circle or a stunning waterfall secluded in a forest.
