This is the trig point sitting on top of Old Fawdon Hill (315m) in Ingram Valley.
Just look how happy those little floofs are at bagging a trig point!
From Ingram Bridge car park just head up the permissive path onto Wether Hill and then loop east onto Old Fawdon Hill. Look east at the top to see two hill forts on Castle Knowe and Gibb's Hill.
Just under 5km and 260m ascent.

Thanks for checking out this place on the Fabulous North! I do enjoy a wander out in to the countryside trying to find hidden gems that not many people know about. You can't beat a rogue Pele tower up a remote hill or a mysterious stone circle or a stunning waterfall secluded in a forest.
