Isaac's Tea Trail

Isaac's Tea Trail is a 58km (36-mile) circular route through the North Pennines, passing through remote moorlands, scenic valleys, and historic villages. Named after Isaac Holden, a 19th-century tea seller and philanthropist, the trail follows in his footsteps, linking Allendale, Nenthead, Alston, and Ninebanks. It offers a mix of rugged terrain, peaceful countryside, and fascinating local history.
