This is the trig point sitting on Brizlee Wood (250m) just on the outskirts of Hulne Park in Alnwick.
This trig point sits within the grounds of RRH Brizlee Wood and the huge golf ball is actually a radome (housing for radar equipment).
The best (and most scenic) route is to park outside Hulne Park on Ratten Row and then just follow the outer wall of Hulne Park in a straight line for 3km to get to the trig point.
Just follow this map, or find it on OS Maps.
Please note that this is a private site, but if you buzz at the gate then they usually let you in to view the trig point. The site is usually manned 9-5 weekdays. There is a lovely chap on our Facebook group who works there and can let you know if it's convenient. Drop a message on there before you go.

Thanks for checking out this place on the Fabulous North! I do enjoy a wander out in to the countryside trying to find hidden gems that not many people know about. You can't beat a rogue pele tower up a remote hill, a mysterious stone circle or a stunning waterfall secluded in a forest.
