From the verge parking, cross the road and head up the track heading SSW .
Follow the ATV track passing grouse butts and shooting boxes as it winds up the moor.
When you reach a gate, go through and turn right.
Keep following the wall until you can see the trig pillar.
There a ladder style that allows access to the trig.
