This is the Doddington trig point (180m) sitting on top of Doddington North Moor.
From the crossroads follow the road the track south until you get to a gated dead end. Just before this there is a gate on your left which is another public bridleway leading you up into the woods.
Do not be tempted to drive the road section as there is a private estate house at the dead end and no parking here.
Just follow this map, or find it on OS Maps. Just 1.85km and 84m of ascent.
