This is the Monkside trig point (513m) near Kielder Water.

Now this one is a bit of a brute to get to. Parking at Bakethin car park you head in a more direct route up to Grey's Pike trig point and then across the moorland. However there is no path and the terrain is very rough.

So we suggest the longer route of following the forest roads all the way to Monkside trig point.

Just follow this route to the trig, or find it on OS Maps. It's a whopping 12km just to get there with 444km of climbing. Maybe head up this one on your bike or electric scooter!
