This is the Braid Hills trig point (208m) near Edinburgh.

From the golf club car park, head east onto a path that enters the golf course. The grassy paths head SE along the edge of the golf course.

After the copse of trees, head SW then south up the hill to the trig point.

There are excellent views over Allermuir Hill and the Pentland Hills to the south.

To the north, you can see Edinburgh Castle and Arthurs Seat with the Firth of Forth beyond.
